Revenge of the Sea Wolf
Local Author Talk with Joseph Theroux

TUESDAY, JUNE 16 | 1:00 PM | IN-PERSON

Revenge of the Sea Wolf.

Our Mixtapes, Ourselves
Local Author Talk with David Grady

THURSDAY, JUNE 25 | 4:00 PM | IN-PERSON

Join us in welcoming local author David Grady to speak on his new book, subtitled The Happy-Sad Story and Soundtrack of Generation X.

Part memoir, part cultural analysis (and as Grady half-jokes) “part group therapy session,” Our Mixtapes, Ourselves playfully and poignantly explores why New Wave, Punk, and Post-Punk music mattered so deeply to millions of Gen X teens back in the 1980s—and why it still resonates more than 40 years later.

Grady is a Cape Cod author who was a college radio DJ in Boston during the rise of alternative music.

This author talk will be held in Community Rooms AB.
