Rockport New Year's Eve

Rockport New Year’s Eve returns after a two-year hiatus! Some 30 performers will appear from 6:00pm to midnight at 14 venues in downtown Rockport, all within easy walking distance of one another. The evening will culminate with a midnight ball drop in Dock Square. Children’s entertainment at Community House will wrap up with an early New Year celebration for young folk at 8:45. Gloucester 400+ Countdown to 2023

City Hall
Gloucester 400+ is hosting a ‘ball drop’ at City Hall in conjuncture with our city namesake Gloucester, England and Dorset, England; Mayor Greg Verga and Gloucester 400+ tri-chair Bob Gillis will count down to the stroke of midnight in the UK (7:00pm EST). There will be hot cocoa and cookies served and noisemakers and lights supplied for all. This is a free event and open to all! Come help them ring in a very special year!

The CAM Teen Council invites you to join us for Winter Wonderland, a free event open to the public on December 29, from 10 AM to 2 PM! Come to the Cape Ann Museum Auditorium for a chance to spend quality time with your family without having to lift a finger.
Take refuge from the chilly air and bring your fuzziest blankets, your fluffiest pillows, and your comfiest pajamas to experience a day of joy during the cold of Cape Ann winters. A Happy Feet (2006) showing will begin at 11 AM! While watching, take off your mittens and warm your hands up with a steaming cup of hot cocoa, munch on fresh-baked treats and tasty peppermint bark in the cozy Cape Ann Museum.
