It may be the hottest week of the summer, but the CUPS Gift Basket Elves will soon put on their Santa Hats and be busy making wonderful gift baskets.  With over 1,000 gift baskets assembled and distributed in the last year, it is time to replenish the gift basket supplies and the Elves could use some help.

  

Below is a list of the current needs of the CUPS Gift Basket Ministry - if you can provide a donation of any of these items- please drop them off at  -

First Presbyterian Church

1130 Johnston St.

Lafayette, LA 

Monday - Friday

8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

  

Urgent need: empty large plastic bottles/containers that hold pretzels, cheese curls,cracklins, etc. usually purchased at Sam's

 

Volunteers needed: knitters and crocheters to make scarves and hats from donated yarn.

 

Items needed:

 

For Babies (new or used):

   Teethers

   Rattles

   Bath Toys

   Blankets

   Baby Bottles

   Nipples for Playtex, Avent and Nuk (new)

   Pacifiers (new)

 

For Adults:

   Throws/Afghans

   Men's Ties

   Men's Gloves

   Men's Socks

   C & D Batteries

 

Always recycling:

   Hotel amenities

   Plastic newspaper sleeves

   Wrapping paper

   Baskets and containers at least 10"square/diameter

   Bolts of ribbon
