A D.C. Experience

Cherry Blossoms, Luncheon Cruise, Gardens, Tea & More

Enjoy a two-hour luncheon cruise experience on board the all-glass

Odyssey. Take in monumental views of Washington, D.C., delectable

dining, and a sophisticated ambiance.

After the cruise, we will visit the U.S. Botanic Gardens, a museum with

living treasures of the plant world. The towering leaves, graceful

flowers, delicate seeds, and exotic fruits of plants at their peak are

displayed artfully throughout the historic Conservatory. This is a selfguided

experience.

We end our day with a visit to Teaism for tea and dessert. Founded in

1996, the tea house's goal is to make exquisite loose leaf tea accessible

to all. In a time and place where tea is too often a dark powder in a bag

with a string, these tea enthusiasts wanted to highlight the beautiful

diversity of the camellia sinensis plant. To accompany the teas, and to

highlight the cuisines of countries where teas are grown, Teaism, in

addition to desserts, serves curries, bento boxes, and other Asianinspired

meals.
