Shower of Love

We are proud to have co-sponsored the 2nd annual "Healthy Baby, Healthy Me" baby shower with Healthy Blue, Southern University Ag Center, and Woman's Hospital. The event raised awareness of the importance of post and prenatal pregnancy care to ensure the health and well-being of both the mother and baby. Shatonda Chandler, YWCA Executive Director of Community Services, described the event's mission saying "The health and well-being of these soon to be mothers and their infants are our major priority."

Early Head Start Graduation

Join us to celebrate the achievements of our Early Head Start students in this year's graduation ceremony, "Sailing to a Bright Future." Seventy 3-year-old students from the Wynadotte and Prescott Early Head Start centers will be honored in the ceremony. Congratulations to our parents, grandparents, and students on this special day!
