This fall has been celebratory for our Design Community. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of gathering with fellow Design Professionals to celebrate the Greater Annapolis Design Districts’s 15 year anniversary and to recognize milestone anniversaries of many of our members... including Sew Beautiful's 20 years in business!
This weekend I look forward to another celebratory evening with our Design community at the 2022 Annapolis Home Magazine Builder and Fine Design Awards Gala. And my team and I just returned from High Point Market, our own celebratory getaway... a 48 hour immersion in all things design!

Reflecting on the past 20 years, I want to share our success story recently featured in the Annapolis Home Magazine spotlight newsletter article, as well as in an Eye on Annapolis podcast interview. Thank you to my clients and colleagues, who have helped me realize my dream and make what I do truly enjoyable. A special thank you to my hard-working staff — Amy, Sarah and Kaylee — without whom I could not accomplish it all. Their commitment to excellence and loyalty to our customers is inspiring.

My Motivation
I started Sew Beautiful in 2001 as a means of combining my entrepreneurial business spirit with my creative side. Design and fabrication began in a workroom in my home and has expanded into a business that has touched more homes than I could have ever imagined.

How We’ve Grown
With a reputation for going “above and beyond” on every project, we have built long-standing relationships with homeowners and other design professionals. That is the cornerstone of our growth and success. We love getting calls from past customers who are ready to decorate their next room or new home if they’ve recently moved!

Offering Services for Homeowners and Design Professionals
While we specialize in custom windows treatments, we’ve expanded our services to include full room design. As a Hunter Douglas Priority Dealer and Certified PowerView Pro, our collaborative projects, particularly on new home builds, often include home automation integration with our shades and draperies.
