Dear Dayton Christian Families,
It’s my honor to be one of the first to welcome you back to DC for the 2022-2023 school year. Our faculty, staff, students, and families have been in my thoughts and prayers throughout the summer.
God made this year’s theme clear to me before our summer break even began. I have spent the past two months praying over 2 Timothy 3:16-17 which says, “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”
God’s word is perhaps one of the most important tools a Christian has at their disposal. Timothy tells us that God’s word equips, teaches, trains, and prepares us for every good work. This includes work done in the classroom, on the athletic field, on a stage, and in the world.
It’s my privilege to join with you in the battle to prepare students to stand for Christ. The foundation for our victory must be rooted in His inerrant, authoritative, and infallible Word.
As we prepare for our return to campus for the upcoming school year, please take some time to read through our annual Back-to-School Letter. It includes important dates, procedures, and information to help you plan for this busy season.
