This Networking Reception is an event held the evening before the UNM Business & Accounting Internship & Job Fair. It is an opportunity for students to connect with recruiters from companies and learn about opportunities in a more relaxed setting. This environment allows for more personal interactions between companies, representatives, and students – allowing attendees to make meaningful connections. The additional interactions students get with recruiters helps increase their chances of being remembered and securing an interview for a job or internship.

This in-person fair is open to students and alumni from all New Mexico higher education institutions and offers a valuable opportunity to connect with employers hiring for management and accounting jobs and internships. Professional business attire is strongly recommended, and job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of both printed and electronic resumes. To prepare, connect with the UNM Office of Career Services for resume reviews, cover letter support, and interview practice before the fair.
