Why Completing the Census is Critical
100's of Billions of Dollars at Stake

The results of the 2020 Census will help determine how hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities every year for things like:
  • Hospitals
  • Fire Departments
  • Schools
  • Roads
  • Government Representation
By completing the Census you are
'Shaping the Future' of Prince William County .

Not responding will negatively
impact our federal funding for essential services for the next 10 years!
How To Complete the Census
It's Fast and Easy

For the first time you can complete the Census online, by phone or through the mail.
Online
Responding online is not only the easiest and fastest way - it is safe and secure ! In March most households received an invitation to respond in the mail which include detailed information and a Census ID for completing the Census online.

If you can't find your Census ID, you can still complete the census online! Below the ID field, click the link that says, “If you do not have a Census ID, click here.”

Please note, once you start the Census, if you leave it before finishing you will have to start over.
