What's new at the library

New Home for Library of Things

We've moved our Library of Things to the room next to the front desk. Come on in and browse all the things available for check-out: games, a blood pressure cuff, puzzles, a metal detector, tools, and more.

Accepting Submissions: Painted Postcard Exhibit

You can still participate in our Greetings From postcard exhibit! Just pick up your postcard-sized canvas at the library and paint a picture of somewhere you've traveled or somewhere you want to go. Drop it off at the library by July 12, and we'll exhibit all postcards from July 15-August 3. All participants will be entered in a raffle to win a package of art supplies!

Christmas in July Toy Collection

During July, bring new, unwrapped toys to the library to benefit Middlebury kids! We will be a Christmas-in-July toy collection site for Lagrange County Miracle Tree, a nonprofit that provides assistance to families in need. Help us bring some July joy to Middlebury kids!

Never Hit a New York Times Paywall Again!

The Silent Patient

by Alex Michaelides

A shocking psychological thriller of a woman's act of violence against her husband -- and of the therapists obsessed with uncovering her motive. This woman refuses to speak a word after her husband's murder. This is a smart, intense, and well-told story that sneaks up on you. One of the biggest twists I've read!
