Connecting Places Where People Live, Work and Play
Peachtree Corners is fortunate to have amazing outdoor amenities we can all enjoy, such as the Chattahoochee River, federal and county parks, streams and a thick tree canopy. Everyone who enjoys being outside takes advantage of those areas of our community.
The City intends to create even more of an advantage for our citizens by connecting these wonderful features together with its multi-use trail system, the Corners Connector. Read More

Town Green Closed for Turf Repairs May 9 - 23
|
Reminder: The oval grassy area at the Town Green will be closed to all activity for two weeks (May 9-23) to repair the turf. The pavilion, children's play areas and Veterans Monument will remain open.

Norcross High School Senior Earns Eagle Scout Rank
|
|
The Boy Scouts of America’s highest rank is that of Eagle Scout. Achieving this prestigious milestone is considered Scouting’s highest accomplishment.
At its April 27, 2021 meeting, the Peachtree Corners City Council had the pleasure of presenting Peachtree Corners resident Niko Avradopoulos, a senior at Norcross High School, and member of Troop 650, with a formal proclamation in recognition of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Read More

Memorial Day Holiday Trash and Recycle Pickup Schedule
This year Memorial Day is observed on Monday, May 31, which means there will be no garbage and recycle pickup on this day.
All pickup days for the Memorial Day holiday week will be moved forward one day. If your pickup date is Monday, it will be moved to Tuesday, those who receive service on Tuesday will have a Wednesday pickup and so fourth. Residents scheduled for Friday pickup will receive service on Saturday. This schedule change only applies to this week.

Spring Cornhole Leagues Now Forming
Registration is now open for CornholeATL's summer 7-week league play at the Town Center.
- Registration ends May 31,
- League play begins June 9.

Health Dept. Offering Walk-in COVID-19 Vaccinations
Good news! The Gwinnett Health Department is now accepting a limited number of no-appointment walk-ins for first dose COVID-19 vaccine at its mass vaccination sites until 5 p.m. each day. Click here to find the closest location.

Free Photo & Video Classes for Residents

|
The city's free photo and video workshops are back. The Tytan Pictures' crew is returning once again to provide instruction on a variety of photography and video topics.
Due to COVID, the class size will be limited to allow for social distancing requirements. The classes cover everything from camera basics, lighting techniques and landscape photography to tips for advanced photographers.

Gwinnett Co. Health Dept. Offering Option of Mobile Vaccines
Do you know a Gwinnett Co. business, school, day care, church, neighborhood or nonprofit organization that would be interested in having the Gwinnett County Health Department bring its Mobile Vaccine Team to the location to administer the COVID-19 vaccine?
All that's needed is someone who is willing to organize a group of individuals wanting the vaccine, locate a place large enough to properly socially distance everyone and the Health Department will do the rest.

Homebound COVID-19 Vaccinations
|
|
Georgia residents who are currently homebound due to an ongoing physical or mental disability and are unable to travel to a COVID-19 vaccination site can request to receive vaccination at their home. Please email HVS@dph.ga.gov with the following information for the person who requires at home vaccination:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Address
- City
- County
- Contact phone number
Your contact phone number will be used to obtain additional information and schedule the vaccination

COVID-19 Vaccination
All residents age 16 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccines are available by appointment at a number of locations in the north metro area.

Burn Ban Now in Place
The annual ban on outdoor open burning is in place from May 1 through Sept. 30.
The outdoor open burning ban prohibits the burning of yard and land clearing debris.

- human waste
Many things you may think are “flushable” do not disperse or break apart once they are in our sanitary sewer system and can lead to sanitary sewer backups or overflows and property damage.

Please join the community on May 31 at 11:30 a.m. at the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument to recognize Memorial Day. Each year, Memorial Day gives us a chance to pause and honor the courage and patriotism of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
This year, we will specifically honor a local Gold Star family with remarks from Mayor Mike Mason and Colonel Bob Ballagh (U.S.A. Retired), past Executive Director of the Peachtree Corners Veterans Monument Association. Read More
