Celebrating the ripple effect!

When one individual in a family takes on a new way of being it necessarily makes a difference in all others members of the family and the community.

Join us on October 16 to honor and celebrate survivors like Mandy Rayner, aka Painter Girl and the good work of FCC!

Mandy experienced domestic violence in her relationship over 14 years ago. After working with advocates and other FCC services, Mandy was able to break free from the cycle of violence and find safety and stability for herself and for young son. A ripple effect occurs as Mandy shared her story and and what she learned from FCC to help her friend take the steps to get safe and stay strong. Her son, now grown, knows what healthy relationships look like and has grown up with security and stability Today, Mandy uses her strength to own and operate her own business in Baltimore County, committing her work to staying strong and helping others.

Mandy you inspire us! Thank you!

Thanks to our volunteers!

No matter when you call someone is ready to listen! For over 40 years, volunteers have provided countless hours of support and resources to callers seeking help on the Baltimore County Domestic Violence Hotline. Your presence makes a difference!

From a recent caller, "When I called I was afraid for my life! The person helped me plan steps to take to be safe. I got help finding shelter for me and my kids. I wouldn't be alive without their help!"

We are grateful to you for all you do!
