Hey All! My name is Natalie. I am the manager of our Preston retail location, and during the winter months an assistant to the head grower at our Preston growing facility. I have been with Hart's for the past five years, three seasonally, and the past two as a full-time employee. Every day is an incredible learning experience and a therapeutic environment is provided by all the life that we help grow around us. My favorite annual changes every season, but this year's winner has to be our Rio Grande Portulaca. These beauties are in the succulent family and add a stunning pop of color to any container, hanging basket, or flower bed in full sun. Plus, they're drought tolerant and produce beautiful blooms all season!
During my off hours I attend Eastern Connecticut State University as an Environmental Earth Science major. In my spare time you can find me hiking, practicing yoga, painting, or trying something new!
