Good morning
Hi there
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads who care for and comfort their kids-and all those who give support when others cannot. Many of us have dads of the heart, and they are truly as special. So give thanks with food and memories and whatever you choose as a prayer, for those who care and nurture.
You'll find the Georgetown Working League at the North End of the Park, selling tickets for their legendary quilt raffle, scheduled for August 10. They'll be here most weeks til then Check out the center panel they brought along ; their quilts are always beautiful and well crafted and go to support the people of Georgetown.
Remember,
our July 6 Market
again
relocates to the parking lot at BIW
on the river, back behind the Riverside Pub. Same hours, same great vendors, lots of parking. More info to come in the next few weeks. or email me at the address below.

Kentucky-aki
from Springdale Farm
Eban uses this marinade on his husky, nicely marbled sirloin, to good effect.
Start with soy sauce and bourbon. Mix with a bit of apple cider vinegar, chopped garlic and ginger, salt and red pepper flakes. marinate 1-5 days. Grill and be happy.I
