Happy #GivingTuesday, everyone!
Most folks in Caledon have heard of the Caledon Parent-Child Centre before, and many residents are from proud CPCC families. In fact, the Centre has been around since1987 and today, many Caledon families are comprised of 2nd - and even 3rd generation CPCC kids.
The CPCC is a charity and a nonprofit, and must fundraise approximately $50,000 annually to address gaps where needs exceed current funding. In 2020, COVID-19 control measures seriously affected our ability to fundraise and resulted in the cancellation of several of our annual events. It is uncertain how funding might be affected in 2021, but as the pandemic continues to dominate our lives , the CPCC vows to remain the safe place where children and families are met with empathy and provided the support they need.
This year the CPCC is kicking off our Warm Hearts annual fundraising campaign on Giving Tuesday by exploring 10 reasons why you should give $10 to the CPCC. We've been sharing these reasons since 7 am today and we hope you'll check out our social media sites (see icons below) as we continue posting throughout the day with lots of great info about your Centre!
Whether you visit the CPCC for the programs, the drop-in fun, the supports or the staff, the CPCC is always there to help your young family connect, learn and grow.
