Summer Fitness Challenge!

Track your miles walked or ran for a chance to win fun prizes in the Miles for Shoes summer fitness challenge!

Now until 7/15 - Log 20 miles for an entry to win a 7 day pool pass
7/16 to 8/15 - Log 20 miles for an entry to win a gift basket
8/16 to 9/15 - Log 20 miles and be entered to win a FREE month of membership!

The person with the most overall miles throughout the challenge will win a Dave's Running Gift Card!

Give Blood. Save Lives.

We will be hosting a blood drive Tuesday, August 1st from 9 am to 3 pm in the West Pool Lounge at the Downtown Branch.

We recognize that deadlines can catch us off guard, and we want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate in our Fall Soccer League. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that we have decided to extend the registration period. The new deadlines for online and in person registration are as follows:

Little Kicker-U10 Divisions: Registration cutoff August 14th

U12 & U15 Divisions: Registration cutoff July 12th

Serve Food... And Your Community

Summer is always filled with fun and barbeques with friends and family. Why not make your cookout extra meaningful by participating in our Grill for Good Campaign? This super easy fundraiser will support our Open Doors program which helps to eliminate financial barriers for community members so they can take part in a path to healthier living and valuable programs at the Y. Two Book Fairs!

We have some wonderful, gently used books waiting for new homes, thanks to donations from kind community members!

This year, we have expanded on the already loved used book sale that supports our Annual Campaign and added a Scholastic Book Fair to support new reading materials for the Child Development Center!

Stop by the Downtown Branch the week of July 17th and find something new for everyone at every price point at our Scholastic Fair and Used Book Sale!

3 Stars Renewed!

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the staff at the Child Development Center, our three star Step up to Quality Rating was renewed! The quality standards of this State program evaluates our spaces as well as the education and preparedness of our staff members. We couldn't have done this without our incredible childcare staff!

From FABSS to YABSS!

FABSS has served our community through FCS with before and after school care for many years, providing convenient, affordable, and valuable childcare for working parents before and after the school bell rings. With the discontinuation of FABSS for the 2023-2024 school year, we intend to bridge the gap that losing FABSS would create. We are excited to announce YABSS - YMCA After & Before School Services at Findlay City Schools! More details will be available soon. Sign up for updates on our website!

Stop by the YMCA on your lunch hour for some tasty treats from local food trucks! Food trucks will be at the Downtown Branch from 11 am-2 pm Monday- Friday through the end of July. There will be no food trucks the week of July 3rd.

Welcome, Nick Schenkel!

We are excited to add another passionate caregiver to our team! This week, we are happy to announce that Nick Schenkel is our new School-Age and Camp Coordinator!

Many of you will recognize "Mr. Nick" from his involvement with YMCA Summer Camps and Findlay City Schools. We are happy to have yet another person on our team who cares deeply about making a positive difference in the lives of children.

FREE ENTRY to Riverside Pool!

Riverside Pool, as well as other area pools, have received a grant from the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation as part of their Fun for All series which will cover the cost of entry for anyone wishing to attend Riverside on July 21st, July 26th, and August 20th.

Additional dates for Arlington, McComb, and Mount Blanchard and more Fun for All series activities can be found here.

We are proud to once again be a part of the free summer lunch program. Lunches will be served from 11:30 am-12:30 pm Monday through Thursday at Glenwood Middle School and on Wednesdays at Journey at Christ Church through August 5th (Closed July 3rd and 4th). Lunches are free for children under 18 and fun hand-on activities will be provided each day! Meals must be eaten on site. Feed-A-Child bags will be available to take home on Thursdays.

Summer hours began Tuesday, May 30th. Our hours are:

Monday-Thursday 5 am-9 pm

Friday 5 am-9 pm

Saturday 7 am-6 pm

Sunday 12 pm-5 pm

Riverside's Hours are:

Monday-Friday 1-7 pm

Saturday and Sunday 12-6 pm

Riverside will close at 5 pm on June 29th to accommodate swim meets

All branches will be closed on the 4th of July. Camps and the Child Development Center will be closed on July 3rd AND 4th. Riverside will remain open.
