From The Editors February 4th, 2020

In this issue of British Columbia Golf's newsletter the main topic on the radar is the Vancouver GolfExpo taking place this coming weekend Feb. 8-9th at the PNE Forum. Check out the link in this newsletter for all you need to know.

One of the most intriguing topics as we start off this new decade is the implementation of the World Handicap System. There has and will continue to be, notifications distributed and questions answered on the subject as the general golf population becomes more aware of the new system. Right now we have a link below where you can see how your handicap will be calculated under the new system as well as find which locations are still scheduled to hold seminars to help anyone wanting to understand more about the WHS.

You may also want to read about Kimberley, BC's Jared du Toit and how he secured for himself a season-long exemption on the PGA Latinoamerica Tour. We'd like to remind everyone again about tickets being on sale for the 2020 CP Canadian Women's Open happening at Vancouver's Shaughnessy GC this fall.

And As always, if you have any thoughts or suggestions on topics you'd like to see appear going forward in your newsletter please send a message via the "Contact Us" button located on the top right of the BC Golf website home page.
