16+ can now book appointments…
Pinellas County COVID Vaccine Update
Pinellas County residents 16 or older can now get vaccinated per the latest executive order from Florida’s governor. Appointments can be booked online at www.PatientPortalFL.com or by calling (844) 770-8548 The website and phone number are available 24/7.
The only vaccine approved by the FDA for those under 18 is the two-dose Pfizer-BioNTech, which is offered at all sites booked through the Patient Portal. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult or caretaker during their appointment.
Public sites operated by the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County (DOH-Pinellas) and Pinellas County Government are adding appointments as additional shipments are received from the state.
Eligible groups may also check for vaccine availability at local pharmacies in Pinellas County, including Publix, Walmart, Sam’s Club and CVS or visit walk up sites in Palm Harbor and Tampa. Identification and proof of eligibility required at all appointments.

|
Florida will receive 554,370 doses of the COVID-19 vaccines from the federal government this week, a significant drop from the previous week as production issues all but halt shipments of Johnson & Johnson doses.
California surpassed Florida in a new estimate of orange production, the latest sign of continuing struggles in Florida’s citrus industry.
An influx of rainy weather has added millions of gallons of water to the leaky pond at the Piney Point industrial site in Manatee County that last week threatened the surrounding area with potential flooding and contamination.
Its request comes during one of the most high-stakes years for rate hikes in a decade.
