When a Punta Gorda Historical Society volunteer and board member noticed the condition of the exterior paint on their little white Cigar House, he called TEAM.
Bike Loaner Program News
New Equipment Welcomed
Bike Loaner program Chair Bill Welsch reports that ridership year to date is dramatically up from 2021 and only slightly behind 2019, which was expected.

The bike loaner station at Fisherman's Village will remain closed during marina renovations to the harbormaster's office. Bikes can be picked up at Laishley Marina, Bayfront Wellness Center and/or Four Points Sheraton. Thank you board member Marianne Lilly for the donation of 2 new loaner bikes.

16th Annual Golf Scramble
A Perfect Day in Paradise
A hundred fun loving golfers scrambled for TEAM in March at St. Andrews South Golf Club in Punta Gorda. Chair Betsy Spagnolo reports that the day was picture perfect. Thanks to all the golfers and sponsors, TEAM met its annual fundraising goal once again. The 2022 scramble is scheduled for March 19.

2021 Spring Food Drive
The Best Ever!
St. Vincent de Paul is grateful for the generosity of so many of you! We filled four trucks in 3 hours. Our next food drive is planned for the fall. Thanks go to all the volunteers and to chair Betsy Spagnolo. We are looking for new coordinators for this easy and greatly rewarding drive through food pantry re-stocking event. Painting their Hearts Out at Punta Gorda History Park
In another new twist on TEAM's Paint Your Heart Out program, volunteers from TEAM and the PG Rotary Club collaborated with the Punta Gorda Historical Society to paint the historic cigar house, built circa 1893.

TEAM Volunteers Help Finish 500th Habitat Home
TEAM volunteers partnered with Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity on its 500th home building milestone. This new affordable home on Espie Street in Punta Gorda is TEAM's fifth build since the inception of the program.

As CEO Nancy Johnson told the Charlotte Sun, "If organizations had best friends, we would be best friends for sure."


Welcome Ali Khan
New TEAM CFO
Ali was recently confirmed Chief Financial Officer by TEAM's board of directors. Khan is Tax Manager with Parlade, Schaefer, Schortz CPAs PA in Punta Gorda. "We’re delighted to have Ali with us," said TEAM CEO Nancy Johnson. "He is a seasoned accounting and management professional."
