Serving of Food and Drink Is Suspended at The Emanuel

Due to the spread of the Omicron variant and the increase of positive cases in West Hartford, we have decided to suspend, until further notice, all food and drink service at The Emanuel effective Sunday, Dec. 19 at midnight.

This decision was made by The Emanuel leadership to protect our congregants and staff from unnecessary exposure to COVID-19 in general and the Omicron variant in particular.

This means there will not be a sit down Kiddush on Shabbat after services starting Dec. 25, and food and drink will not be served at programs.

Emanuel leadership will keep our members up to date with any further changes.

Please contact Regina Miller to sponsor a future Kiddush, when restrictions are lifted.
