October 2019 NEWSLETTER
It's HARVEST Time!

Do you know that  in grades K - 12, 1 in 7 students are either a bully or have been a victim of bullying? This also means that we have the means to positively impact those 1 in 7 students through our youth programs.
In honor of National Bullying Prevention Month, The Empowerment Center will continue our diligent work of standing up and speaking out for the sake of our youth.

Because of you, we are helping youth and families develop the resilience necessary to overcome challenges, discover the best of themselves and create healthier, happier patterns of living. Thank you!

Participant Testimonial
Lance Boyts shares his experience on The Empowerment Center's Adult Fee-Based Strengths Discovery Workshop:
"The Strengths Workshop was phenomenal! It was a very uplifting experience and I learned about a whole new side of myself that had been dormant because of my own self image. Since the workshop, I have utilized this valuable knowledge to progress my career and strengthen my household. With these newfound skills, I have gained promotion and favor in my workplace and propelled my family into prosperity. I would love to thank Mrs. Tiffany Baker so much for running the workshop flawlessly and providing the opportunity to take part in such a powerful and important experience. I highly recommend this class to everyone. I truly believe that these are life skills that everyone NEEDS to learn and WILL benefit greatly from!"

The Empowerment Center  offers the community fee-based resources and in turn, local children are given the opportunity to take our life-skills programs  for free or reduced cost.
