God's love is more valuable than any one or thing that we may think is of high value. God's love is immeasurable and without strings attached to it. He demonstrated His great love by sending the very best - Jesus Christ, to atone for the sins of the world.

Many however, have a difficult time believing God would love them because of things they had done in their past. I was one of those people. I was in my early 30 and saved, but had doubts that God could love me because of something I did in my teen years. My relationship with God changed once I learned the truth that satan was deceiving me about the love God has for me.

God - Author of Love

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. (Ephesians 3:14-19 KJV)

The scriptures above were written by Apostle Paul. It was his prayer that all Believers would comprehend the understanding of the great “love” God has for them. He knew the love of God and wanted other Believers to be empowered in their hearts and minds with this great love, just as he was the recipient of this love.

The words: to comprehend the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge; says it all. Paul is saying God’s love is immeasurable. We can’t put a price tag on His love, we can’t measure it! These scriptures inform us that God’s love is not depended upon His feelings, He loves us unconditionally. God doesn’t ask us to perform for His love, it is a gift freely given.

Fact:

• God wants each of us to be empowered with His love. (Intimacy)
•  By faith God wants us to believe we are loved by Him. (Trust)
• By faith God wants us to be “rooted and grounded” in His love. (Stable)
• By faith God wants us to know His love toward us is immeasurable. (Extreme love)
• God is the Author of Love.

By faith, as we allow these four facts to dwell within our hearts and minds, then we will learn to love ourselves and others as God loves us. Remember God doesn’t allow His feelings or performance on our part to decide whether He will love us, He loves us because He is LOVE; God is the Author of LOVE. A love that delights in being in relationship with each of His children. A love that protects and provides for His children. A love that does no harm to His children. A love that never dies!

The world's definition of love is totally different than God's free gift of love. The world loves according to feelings and performance. The world's love is conditional. Which will you choose, the worlds love or God's love?

Friends, by faith allow God’s love to heal you areas that cause you to doubt His love. Once healed you will learn to love self and others. God’s kingdom is love, so let us learn to live a lifestyle of love with self and others, for LOVE is the greatest Gift.

“Journey With The King”

There are things in many areas of life that need to be adjusted because they become off course. If a locomotive train leaves its track, it has to be put back on track. Many times, when a train gets derailed (off track) it can cause severe damage to the loads they carry, the engine, the tracks as well as property surrounding the tracks. As a result, repairs are necessary in order to get back to the normal operating procedure. The cause of these problems may be the result of uneven tracks or ground under the tracks washed away by rain, etc.

Mankind, like trains, also get out of adjustment mentally and spiritually. Those who have been transformed by a relationship with Jesus Christ also get out of tune with God because of distractions, adversity, stress, lack of prayer and time with God and many other things. When this occurs, we need to be “fine tuned by God.” There are many examples that can be used to express how we are brought back into the right adjustment process. The book of Jeremiah gives one great example:

• Israel in Jeremiah 14:19-23. God had given them an order concerning the Sabbath which was not obeyed by them. This caused them serious consequences of a reaping process.

• God sent the prophet Jeremiah to warn them ahead to prevent the serious consequences of disobedience. They would not obey.

• God’s solution for “fine tuning” as recorded in Jeremiah 18:1-6: God instructed Jeremiah to go to the Potters House and watch how he worked the clay. The potter reshaped the clay! Jeremiah was given a vision example of how God would reshape Israel, if they wanted to change.

This was God’s way of “fine tuning” Israel back to their relationship with Him. We also have a choice to be “fine turned by God.” If we allow Him, God can get us back on track in order to bring out better results for His Kingdom. If we are left to continue as we are (our choice), we like a derailed train – off track, are headed for destruction in which consequences of reaping will result.

We must stay on the track God has prescribed for us through His Word, or if we too steer off at times, we can use God’ preventive maintenance to save much heartache.

 I am my neighbor’s Bible

He reads me when we meet;

Today he reads me in my home

Tomorrow on the street.

 He may be relative or friend

Or slight acquaintance be;

He may not even know my name,

Yet he is reading me.

 And pray, who is this neighbor

Who reads me day by day,

To learn if I am living right

And walking as I pray?

 O, He is with me always

To criticize or blame;

So worldly-wise in his own eyes,

And “Sinner” is his name.

  Dear Christian friends and brothers,

If we could only know

How faithfully the world records

Just what we say and do,

 O, we would write our record plain

And come in time to see

Our worldly neighbor won to Christ

While reading you and me.
