Back to School Message from Cori Mielke, Program Lead
Cori Mielke
“Back to school”Just a year ago that may have meant the hustle and bustle of school schedules, school supply shopping, and anxiously waiting to find out who your child’s teacher would be. A lot has changed since then. We’re learning new terms like: Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL), limited in-person instruction, and hybrid learning models...If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed, I don’t blame you, with all of the changes, we’re having a hard time keeping up too...

All Ability Tri4Youth 2020 Virtual Challenge logo
Thank you to our Virtual Challenge participants who made space and time over two weeks in August to 2.53 YOUR way! All 253 of you (yes, really 253!), plus those who supported your families along the way, helped to change the face and perception of disability in sport and recreation!

We loved seeing how you completed 2.53 YOUR way! From hiking and walking, to biking, swimming, running, shooting hoops, playing catch, or climbing obstacle courses, you and your families got creative, had fun, and showed that wherever we are, we can be HEALTHY, stay ACTIVE, keep SAFE, and feel CONNECTED!

See photos from the Virtual Challenge on our Feature Stories page, and look for our post-event video later this month on our YouTube page.

And once again, thank you to our sponsors for helping us build the capacity to host this event virtually.
