I don't know who coined the word "Maycember," but it is a perfect word for these next few weeks leading into Memorial Day. The end of May has an affinity with the December weeks leading into the Christmas holidays. Hence, May-cember.

Graduations, the first summer holiday weekend, school sports, parties, picnics, gardening -- there's a lot of stuff penciled on everybody's calendars.
