THIS WEEK'S TALK BY
REV. ROSEMARY CATHCART
"The Power of Connection"
|
Us human beings yearn for connection and that deep reassurance of being seen and heard. We all want to know that we matter. As Founder of the Science of Mind Teachings, Dr. Ernest Holmes stated that we all must "straighten out our lives". It was his belief that through affirmative thinking, we are able to clear our minds of negative thoughts, fears and doubts in order to experience the "Presence, Peace and Harmony of God that is within and around us". As we do that, we become natural magnets for right action and a mirror of graciousness that automatically welcomes and soothes others as well. After all, we're all in this together, so why not become the best reflections of ourselves possible!

CSLN is Hiring!
While we are in this transitional phase, CSLN is looking to fill two positions for child care workers in the Youth Department for "casual care" during Sunday Service. MEETINGS & EVENTS
Visioning Circle
We will be having our monthly Visioning Circle this Sunday, October 8 after Sunday Service. There are so many things we are attracting to our Center: a buyer, a new home, a new minister. It starts with visioning and being open to Spirit’s impress. Join us in the upstairs classroom as we continue to connect and experience the power of visioning!
De-Clutter Team Meeting
There is another de-cluttering day scheduled for Friday, October 13 at 9:30 AM. All are welcome to pitch in! There are tables in the Fellowship Hall with items we are letting go of. Feel free to take them and give them a second life! We obviously cannot take everything with us so if you have donated furniture or other items to the Center in the past and would like to know if we will be taking it with us when we move, check with Karen McLaughlin or Lucia Coopersmith.

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT
DAVID ARNHOLTER, RScP
I know that there is only One Spirit, One Love, One Life. I also know I am one with Spirit. I am one with Love. I am one with Life. A healing Power is flowing in and through me now, healing every organ, healing every thought, healing every
function of my body. There is no fear, no doubt and no uncertainty in my mind. I am letting perfection flow through me. It is my life now. The love of Spirit expressing in and through me, directs me, protects me and guides every step of my life.
And I know this same healing Power is flowing through our beloved Center and has attracted the perfect buyer for our building in an easy, satisfying transaction and all involved are blessed. I also know that the perfect new home for our Community is ours and the perfect new minister for our community is even now drawn to us in Love. I give thanks for Spirit. I give thanks for Love. I give thanks for the Science of Mind teaching. I give thanks for our vibrant Community!
Accepting Spirit and Love as my life experience, I release my word into the Universal Law of Mind, which always says YES, knowing it has already made all of this or something even better, so. And so it is.
