Mission Team Heads to Red Bird

October 2 - 8

Please pray for safe travels and a successful week for our Red Bird Mission team. St. Paul's team, Nancy and Jerry Seiter, Sigrid Grace, Judy Smouter, Garry Watson and Larry Hice will join twelve members of the Brighton UMC for this year's trip. The Brighton group will include our old friend, Pastor Jon Reynolds. The combined team will be working on two separate projects for local home owners as well projects in and around the Mission buildings. While the Mission was not directly impacted by the recent flooding in Eastern Kentucky, they still have felt the residual effect and are part of the long term recovery. Your prayers and continued financial support will be greatly appreciated.

Generosity Campaign

A Bounty of Answers...

Q: How much should I/we give to support the ministry and mission of St. Paul’s?

A: At St. Paul’s, we seek “to inspire people to live and love like Jesus.” What we give and the ministries we share with the world around us witness to Jesus. While the amount of our gifts may differ according to our abilities and where we are on our giving journey, we invite everyone to seek God in prayer asking, “Lord, what are you calling me/us to give to inspire people to live and love like Jesus through the ministries of St. Paul’s?” Our generosity is a natural outpouring of gratitude for God’s generosity to us and gives witness to Jesus who gave everything, including his life. Check out our website Generosity Campaign page to find out more about how we grow together in generosity as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. In this season of harvests, remember that “you will always harvest what you plant.”

What are we saying...

“I come to church because I want to sing the songs. At St. Paul’s I learn how to sing, ‘Our God is an awesome God! He reigns!’” - Claire, 3
