It's Self-Care Sunday!

It's easy to get lost in the "hustle-n-bustle" of the week.  There are the "should's, need-to's, and have-to's" that need your attention.  But for today, Sunday, take a moment to do something nice for yourself to relax, rejuvenate, and re-energize.

Your Self-Care Tip:
Go Green!  Have a cuppa green tea. There's something relaxing about having a cup of tea. But, it's even better if you go green.  There's actually a natural compound called theanine in green tea that can provide a "calming effect."

Sip your tea sitting in your favorite chair, or outdoors watching the scenery.  As you are taking this moment to relax, you are also providing some health benefits to your body.  The benefits of drinking green tea are plentiful. The antioxidants in green tea have been shown to aid in lowering cholesterol, preventing heart-related issues (e.g., high blood pressure), stabilizing blood sugars in people with diabetes, and preventing cell damage.  So, take a moment and have a cuppa . . . .

Now, go do it!
