Aquatic Park Closes August 14
|
|
|
Like all good things, summer will eventually come to an end. The Bonner Springs Aquatic Center will close for the season on August 14. Make sure to get out to the pool before it closes.

Doggie Palooza at Aquatic Park

|
Take your pooch to the pool on August 20 for our 7th annual Doggie Palooza. The cost is $5 per dog.
No children under 18 are allowed in the pool for this event.

Residents of Bonner Springs can list their yard sale items and address in our booklet for our bi-yearly city wide sale. People from all over the metro area descend on Bonner Springs for this special event looking for their treasure. Printed booklets will be available to be picked up at the Community Center. We also have an electronic copy of the listings on our website and on our Facebook page before the event.
Listings cost $5. The deadline to register your sale is Wednesday, September 21. Sales are encouraged to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24.

Men's Adult Softball League

Now registering teams for our men's adult softball league! Teams play doubleheaders with 10 games guaranteed. Single-elimination postseason tournament following the regular season. All games are played at Lions Park Field 1 on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning July 21. $350 team fee; players must be at least 16 years of age. Registration closes Tuesday, July 5.

Ready for fall soccer? This league is offered for boys and girls in grades PreK to 8th. Practices begin the week of August 22. Six games guaranteed; games are played on Saturdays & Sundays starting September 10.
League registration closes on August 1.

This league is offered for boys and girls ages 4-8 (as of September 1). Divisions included 6U Co-Rec Tee Ball, U8 Boys & Girls. Practices begin week of August 29. Four-game season; games are played on Mondays & Tuesdays starting September 19.
