Mentor Schools is placing an emphasis on helping students understand the importance of being a good digital citizen. Throughout this year, students are participating in grade-level appropriate lessons that focus on topics such as digital footprints, internet safety and information literacy. As we continue to focus on digital citizenship skills, we also encourage our students to find ways to demonstrate digital leadership. Many of our students have had an opportunity to participate in project based learning (PBL) units where their end product often allows them to show their digital leadership. Using the image below, please review with your child the steps they need to take to be a responsible digital citizen and encourage them to be an inspirational digital leader!
