Working Out in the New Year
When embarking on new healthy habits in the new year, it is normal to feel a little uncomfortable when returning to the gym after taking some time off. It is important to remember to start slowly and allow your body the opportunity to adjust to the new activities, especially if you have been inactive for a while. Even short periods of inactivity can cause muscle weakness, so it is crucial to avoid overdoing it. Engaging in exercises that may not be suitable for you can also lead to potential problems.
Before beginning your journey towards better health in 2024, it is advisable to seek the guidance of a trained professional. Consult our knowledgeable staff today at (757) 345-2512 or email strive@tpmgpc.com.
