Life is moving faster. We're gaining speed and momentum is building in nearly every part of our lives.

Midterms, report cards, college application deadlines, holidays, games, recitals, opening and closing nights are filling our calendars and our thoughts. All that is on top of work, family obligations and personal care. All these things are ramping up to pre-pandemic levels, maybe even higher.

This is the time to rise, to double down and to accelerate our impact. shift_ed is doing just that.

A couple of highlights: SEO Scholars, the free, eight-year program that gets students to and through college with a 100% college acceptance rate and a 90% college graduation rate has registration open now. We built the new shift_ed scholarship model with equity as the guiding principle; and beginning in fall 2023, shift_ed will award most of our scholarship dollars to students with the most need. Tutoring, career exposure and college prep all continue, and our team is more committed than ever to student success in the classroom and life.

Expanding our impact is our goal every day.

Inspiration, motivation and transformation are on the menu Wednesday, November 2 for shift_ed’s Accelerating Impact Lunch. I want to personally invite you to meet my friends Louise Brady and Bobby Long. The bold work they saw happening at shift_ed reignited their passion for the organization, and with their support, our reach is already growing. Be a part of the change. It starts November 2.
