Our community is going through difficult times as we’ve been ordered to shelter-in-place. And while many of us have the luxury of working remotely, there are those who do not. Workers around the world and in our own communities have seen their hours cut and wages lost. Others are still required on-site, including first responders and healthcare providers, risk their own health to help others. Workers in fields considered essential critical sectors, includes construction (p.11), can continue to work on projects as long as they feel comfortable doing so. Whatever our individual situation, it’s times like these when our fellow workers need our support. If we band together, we can ensure the health and well-being of our community for the long haul.
