I have exciting news to share! It is time to order your textbooks! Please read the following email to help answer some of your questions regarding your schedule and ordering books:
 
Locate your class schedule.  
  • Using your CIA Student Portal, go to Self-Service Menu>Academic Planning>Student Planning.  
  • Use the left/right arrows to find your correct semester date and campus location, then select the “Print” button the view your schedule in a single page format. 

Visit www.ciabooks.com to view your required textbooks.  

  • Use the "Course Title" column from your schedule to identify the books for the corresponding class. EXAMPLE: CULS-100
  • Not every class will require a book. The listed classes on www.ciabooks.com will correspond to classes with required textbooks. For classes not found on the website, you’ll receive materials from your instructor, or a book may be used for multiple classes.
  • You can purchase your books new, used, or choose to rent them through the above websites. If you are anticipating changes to your schedule based on transfer credits that you have been in contact about, please wait to order your books.
  • If you purchase your textbooks through a retailer other than www.ciabooks.com, it is expected that you acquire the correct editions of the texts as listed on www.ciabooks.com.
