(Rain or Shine)
Hello Friends of the Widows Pantry,

We're so excited to announce it's time to register for the 5K Walk for the Homeless! Are you ready?

This year our goals are to:

  • Bring awareness and advocate for the homeless.
  • Serve three shelters on Christmas day and provide winter coats. In the past, we've served only two shelters on Christmas day.
  • Enhance our Life Skills Center Program by providing laptops to our students.
What You Need to Know:

  • As usual, we are doing a 5K (3.1 miles) walk at the Washington Tidal Basin.
  • The walk is open to adults and children.

Saturday, October 7, 2023
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (EST)

If You Would Like To Sponsor Our Walk

We are looking for sponsors to support this event. Here's how sponsorship works:

  • Sponsors will receive a $230.00 tax deductible receipt, a walk t-shirt, and a "Friends of the Pantry Tote Bag."

The deadline to become a sponsor is September 8, 2023.
