GUEST ARTISTS
YVONNE SMITH & LAURIE O'SHEA
Yvonne Smith is a singer, songwriter, and former creator/host of her own online TV show about vegan travel called The Traveling Vegetarian. Originally from Santa Rosa, California, she has lived in Nashville for the last twenty-one years. She is happiest creating harmony as a backup singer, both in the studio and live on stage, and has sung with a wide variety of musicians in many different genres. Yvonne used her downtime during the pandemic to put herself through real estate school and is now a licensed agent at Crye-Leike.
Laurie O’Shea writes songs that have been described as Adult Contemporary/Pop/Broadway with a touch of sarcasm mixed in.
While she is often asked to be a featured performer, her real love is singing background vocals. She enjoys getting to do both at New Thought churches around the country. Laurie is a member of NSAI and has performed at many Nashville singer-songwriter venues and events. Laurie’s first album, Perfectly You, was released in August of 2019 and she is currently working on her next compilation of lullabies for all ages.

BUILDING AND MOVING UPDATE!

Our buyers have asked for a two week extension so our new closing date has been moved to March 14. We want to make sure everyone knows what our timeline is and ways that everyone can help so you will receive a more detailed letter by email this week.

In the meantime, the important dates to know are:

February 26 - The movers are coming to take everything to our new space at Unity Nashville. Just a couple of items will be left behind to be moved later.

March 3 - Potluck/party to say thank you to all this building has given us.

March 10 - Last Sunday service at 6705 Charlotte Pike. There will be cake, coffee and probably some tears.

March 11 - Moving our AV equipment and those last remaining items we needed for the last 2 weeks.

March 17 - First Sunday service at Unity Nashville, 5125 Franklin Pike. Don't forget, our service will start at noon!

Date TBD - Celebration party in our new space!
ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • The Women’s Circle will be meeting at Dalt’s Grill for lunch Thursday, Feb 22 at noon. We will be celebrating February birthdays. Let Lucia know if you can make it so that she can let the restaurant know how many people will attend.

  • As you know, we have been in the process of hiring and looking for volunteers to reactivate our youth program. We have a few possible candidates and volunteers now so we have put together a team to help craft what our program will look like. SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT
 Alan Woodard, RScP

There is one life, God’s life and it is my life. This divine presence and consciousness operates through me as perfect health, as overflowing abundance , as enriching relationships, as beneficial work, continued spiritual growth and peace and harmony in my daily life. It expresses through me as love, peace and joy.

I declare spirit is guiding me right now to embrace the beauty of conscious and creative living. I am applying the principles of the Science of Mind as the blueprint for creating new ideas and greater awareness to express the power within me to experience happiness, confidence, discipline and wisdom. I know the universe supports and guides me.

I give great gratitude for my life in all it’s blessings. I am thankful for my gifts and talents and embrace the opportunity to experience the fulfillment of all life has to offer me.

Thank you spirit, and I release this my word to the law knowing it is so

And, So It Is!
