 Important Industry Updates & News

Congress Went Home! Call & Invite Them Over!

While we were all waiting for news on the relief bill for the motorcoach industry, also referred to as the CERTS Act, we learned our leaders failed again to come to an agreement.  Senator Chuck Grassley advised the Senate will not reconvene until after Labor Day.

The Senate version of the CERTS Act (S. 4150) now has 28 co-sponsors and the House version (H.R. 7642) has 46 co-sponsors. The industry needs more co-sponsors for the CERTS Act and if there is any good news that comes out of this delay, it is we have more opportunity to increase co-sponsors.

We hate to sound like a broken record, but please call your representatives who have not co-sponsored yet.  Ask them to visit you, since they are home!  Please refer to our most recent Member Alert from Wednesday for contact information and to find out who didn't sign on yet.
