At the GNJMA Fall Meeting in Atlantic City, Tim Stout of Stout's Transportation, was honored for his 10 years of service and leadership as the president of GNJMA and Tom Jebran of Trans-Bridge Lines and Tom Dugan of Safety Bus Service were each presented with a Founder's Award. They both started 40 years ago with the Association, and are still active Board Members. Amazing!

GNJMA Executive Committee member Michelle Petelicki, owner of Panorama Tours, testified on behalf of our Association members at Governor Murphy’s American Rescue Plan Act Zoom. With New Jersey having $200M in leftover funds, Michelle pleaded our case on why the motorcoach operators in the state are worthy of receiving $50M of the funds. Read the transcript.

ABC Companies Announces New Territory Manager |
|
ABC Companies is happy to announce and welcome their new Northeast Territory Manager, Keith Treasure, to the ABC Team! Keith recently joined the team and has already been hitting the pavement traveling with the ABC Parts Source Sales Team. He will be managing all Parts sales for Coach and Transit in the Northeastern States. Keith comes from 23 years of experience in the heavy truck parts business; having many roles beginning with parts delivery, inside and outside sales, to managing branch operations. He is very excited to join the ABC family.

Recently, voting members received proposed Bylaw changes. A majority of the voting members approved the changes. The revised Bylaws have been published to the website.

GNJMA Annual Meeting & Events Recap |

Thank you to everyone who attended the Association events last week! Starting Wednesday morning with our Annual Golf Outing to benefit our Scholarship Program and ending with the Group Leader Marketplace Thursday afternoon, we certainly packed a lot in. Thank you to Meg Lewis, and her staff, for being so generous and having great customer service.
The outing hosted 80 golfers at the Atlantic City Country Club for a fun day of play and networking. Congratulations to the winners of the contests!

We were fortunate to have two engaging speakers at the meeting; Steve Gilliland and Daniel Benson, NJ Assemblyman/Transportation & Independent Authorities Chairman. We also honored our Motorcoach Professional Award and Scholarship Program recipients. |

The Group Leader Marketplace hosted over 225 Group Leaders. Normally, this number is much higher, but with the pandemic effects, not everyone is comfortable traveling yet. We heard good feedback from the exhibitors on the interaction. Success!
The GNJMA Board meeting was held in the afternoon. A full agenda included the sharing of the officer election results. The officers we re-elected: Tim Stout President, Tom Taylor VP, Michelle Petelicki Secretary and Jon DeCamp Treasurer.
