ABC Companies Zero Emissions Tour in Full Swing throughout North America and They Expand Their Team | |
ABC Companies is conducting a North American demo tour of its industry leading 100% battery electric Van Hool motorcoach models along with several zero emission cutaway shuttle vehicles. These electric vehicles showcase the potential for transporting 12 to 69 passengers completely emissions free. The tours industry leading Van Hool TDX25E Double Deck 69-passenger motorcoach, and the CX45E 52-passenger coach utilize Proterra battery systems and are capable of ranges well over 250 miles per charge. PBA contracted with a company to produce a 100th commemorative video and we are a looking for a sponsor. Your name, logo (or other branding) will be forever on the this commemorative video!
The video will include archive footage of the Association. If you have any old photos of your company buses, past PBA gatherings, or any other PBA- related photos, we would love to include them in the video. An easy scan and send will do the trick.

PBA Annual Meeting Held June 19-22, 2022 | |
Thank you Happy Valley! The Industry Expo, Sales Retreat, FAMS, networking opportunities, educational sessions, amazing speakers and lots of fun, including goat yoga, were packed into four action-packed days in Happy Valley, PA.

PBA Announces New Board Members | |
We held the Board of Director elections on June 20 during the General Member Meeting in State College, PA. The membership voted to accept the slate of candidates as presented by the Nominating Committee. Below is a list of elected directors, some new and some who renewed for another two-year term. The other board members, whose terms were not up, will remain.
Of special note, Tammy Wolf-Baker became the first woman Chair in our almost 100-year history! Congratulations!
Also, we would like to extend our thanks to the Nominating Committee members: Sandy Borowsky (Chair) of Starr Bus Charter & Tours, John Bailey of Bailey Coach, Tom Brynan of Werner Bus Lines and Jay Newswanger of R & J Transportation.

PBA recognized nine PBA members’ employees as the recipients of the Drivers and Employees of Distinction Award.
The recipients were honored at the June 21st luncheon during the Annual Conference at Wyndham Garden, State College, Pennsylvania. PBA gave each recipient engraved plaques, pins, and Bulova watches.
While a few could not attend the ceremony, we congratulate all the award recipients!

Also, Jeffrey Mayo of Greyhound and PBA director on the Board, presented PBA with an award commemorating 100th years as an association.
We thank Greyhound for this honor. This award will be donated to the Museum of Bus Transportation in Hershey, PA as an archive and for all to see.

Yellowstone National Park Update for Groups
Yellowstone reopened the southern route and is hoping to have the northern loop open in the next few weeks, which includes the majority of the inspirational areas your groups want to see.
