Chester County's Brandywine Valley

Chester County's Brandywine Valley is the official Tourism Agency for Chester County PA. Promoting events, attractions, food & wine, gardens, charming downtowns, and lovely scenic landscapes. The current Visitors Center location was originally the Longwood Progressive Quaker Meeting House and was involved in the Underground Railroad; their Information Center offers information on the entire Brandywine Valley attractions, restaurants, accommodations and special events. Located near Longwood Gardens.

Driver & Employee of Distinction Awards Nomination Period is Open - Deadline to Nominate is January 31, 2023

The PBA Driver & Employee of Distinction Awards was developed to honor members' drivers and employees who have demonstrated an exceptional performance record and service to their employer.


NEW! We are inviting our Travel Supplier and Associate Members the opportunity to also nominate an employee for the Employee of Distinction Award.

 

The award presentation will take place at the 2023 Marketplace Networking Reception on March 27, 2023 in the evening at the Holiday Inn, Morgantown, PA. The deadline to nominate is January 31, 2023. Get more information and start the nomination process.

  • If you attended our Annual Conference in State College earlier this year, don't forget to use your special discount code to get $100 off your booth! The special Annual Conference discount code will expire 12/31/2022.

2023 PBA’s 100th Anniversary Family Day is June 10, 2023

We are excited to announce the date for our 2023 PBA’s 100th Anniversary Family Day on June 10, 2023 at the Museum of Bus Transportation in Hershey, during their Annual Spring Fling. Save the date!


If PBA members want to drive a bus to the event, we will need to give the AACA a bus count in April, so we are assured a designated parking area large enough. Please let Pattie know if you want to bring a bus. Thank you!

Senator Casey Adds His Name to the CERTS Tax Fix

We especially needed Senator Casey to add his name to the Senators Reed/Collins letter (view here) to leadership asking that the CERTS tax fix be included in any end-of-year tax package. The Senator's office reached out to PBA to advise that we have his support.

U.S. Department of Transportation Announces Nearly $98 Million in Loans for Safety Improvements on Virginia’s I-81

The U.S. Department of Transportation today announced that its Build America Bureau has provided two low-interest loans totaling $97.6 million to the Virginia Commonwealth Transportation Board (CBT), the governing body of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), for improvements to Interstate 81. Read more...
