It's with great pleasure and excitement that we're pleased to announce that Valley Vista, the 80-bed inpatient alcohol and chemical dependency treatment center is now accepting New York State patients covered by Fidelis Care. And you're among the first to know! Adult men, women and adolescents, aged 13 - 18 years old, can now receive the treatment nationally recognized for its capability in helping patients with dual-diagnosis of alcohol and/or chemical dependency often complicated with behavioral health concerns.
Inpatient Treatment for Men, Women and Adolescents
The Valley Vista inpatient treatment center located in Bradford, VT offers comprehensive, empathetic addiction rehabilitation services for men, women and adolescents in a safe and secure therapeutic environment. Valley Vista uses a best practices abstinence-based approach that is rooted in 12-Step recovery programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous. The goal is to treat patients with the highest addiction acuity, often complicated by co-occurring mental conditions, to live a life that is happy, joyous and free from addiction. From medically
monitored detoxification services to discharge and comprehensive aftercare planning, the highly-qualified Valley Vista clinical team works with patients to improve their personal, physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, familial and social functioning helping to rebuild self-esteem and perceived self worth. The end result is a platform from which to build a sober life.
Our adolescent inpatient program, one of the few in the Northeast, provides treatment from medically-supervised detox to discharge and comprehensive aftercare planning. Additionally, our educational program facilitates reintegration into school as our VT State Agency of Education recognized educators work with every child's school system to ensure they have the opportunity to stay connected and on track. Valley Vista also provides services for students enrolled in individualized educational programs (IEP). Additionally, family therapy is a key part of the Valley Vista adolescent treatment protocol.
Additional Insurance Accepted by Valley Vista
In addition to accepting Fidelis Care for covered New York State residents, Valley Vista works with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (with exception of the HMO plan), Cigna, Beacon Health Options, CBA, MVP, Harvard Pilgrim, United Behavioral Health, and Martin's Point (managed by Maine Health Accountable Care Organization). And where we don't have agreements in place with commercial insurance companies, we'll work towards single-case agreements ensuring that all patients get the care they need and the coverage needed to ensure a journey towards enduring recovery.
Recognition
Valley Vista inpatient services have been recognized by the state of Vermont and the Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Institute for its outstanding dual diagnosis capabilities in addiction treatment. The facility has been commended by Magellan Behavioral Health for outstanding outcome results as compared to other providers nationally.
