SonQuest Rainforest transports young minds into a vivid rainforest environment of jungle sounds, sights and smells, where they'll dig into the Bible and meet Jesus in every day's story.

Everything your SonQuest Rainforest adventurer encounters is based on five parables told by Jesus that will make a difference in their lives every day. Kids will GET IT in the parable of the Sower. Kids will GET FOUND in the parable of the lost sheep. Kids will GET GOD'S LOVE from the parable of the Good Samaritan. On day 4 they will GET PRAYING with the parable of the friend at midnight. On the last day kids will GET GOING through understanding the parable of the talents.

These five days of discovery not only give kids the knowledge of God's Word, but also the opportunity to respond to His trust by living out their Christian faith. Enter a world of amazing animals, fabulous fish, intelligent insects-we've traveled a long way up river to discover this abundant rainforest!

We are recruiting teen and adult volunteers to help guide the children and assist at each station. There will be 4 stations- Bible stories, Crafts, Games and Snacks. We will also have a sign up sheet for additional volunteers and for providing snack items so be on the lookout for that coming soon!
Please contact Janet Marseilles, Liz Miller, or Rev. Gwynn to volunteer. We appreciate your support!!

Now Taking Requests!

During our choir's summer break in July and August, we make a special effort to sing hymns and songs recommended by YOU! Please write your requests on the slips of paper found in the pews and place them in one of the canisters found at each door. You can also email your requests to Martha at cantejondo52@gmail.com.

Please note: More information about your choice(s) is better! Examples-hymn number, first line; title of song and author (if not in hymnal), etc. Be sure to include your name and contact info so Martha can reach you if there are any questions.

Weekly Eucharist and Bible Study
Wednesdays
Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. | Bible Study at 10:00 a.m.

We are currently studying the parables of Jesus.

Every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. a small and faithful group gathers for weekly Eucharist.  At these services, we learn about our ancestors in the faith (using the saints' day calendar from A Great Cloud of Witnesses ) and we pray for all those on our parish prayer list by name.

After the service (beginning at about 10:00 a.m.) we study scripture.
It is a free-wheeling sort of Bible study, with lots of time for questions and discussion. We talk about how the scripture applies to our daily lives. Please join us!
Remember:
Our Food Drive is Ongoing!

Please bring canned goods and non-perishables to Sunday services and leave them in the basket at the door. They will be blessed at the offering and passed on to those in need in our community.
