Dear KIPP Baltimore Team and Family,

Today, we are proud to announce the public launch of our capital campaign , It's a New Day at KIPP Baltimore , to support our move, critical facility renovations, and the impact they've made for our school community. To date, we have raised more than two-thirds of our $1.5 million goal. Today, we are also asking for your investment to help meet our goal by the end of June.

As you know, this summer, we made the important move to our new home at 2000 Edgewood Street so that our more than 1,500 students would have access to an academic setting that allows them to reach their fullest potential.

And our KIPPsters are full of potential - more than 90% of our alumni have graduated from high school and more than 70% have matriculated to college. Our students benefit from a holistic educational experience that includes a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, engaging enrichment classes like African American studies and dance, and all the learnings that come from being a member of the national KIPP network of schools. Now, in a building that meets their needs, our KIPPsters' futures are shining brighter than ever.

We are also still r iding the excitement of this month's huge announcement by Hall of Famer Ed Reed and Tony the Tiger that, in partnership with the Kellogg's Foundation's Mission Tiger program and Donors Choose, KIPP Baltimore will receive an incredibly generous $200,000 gift from the Kellogg's Foundation. Through this landmark gift to our new facility, our baseball field will receive a needed upgrade to meet middle school regulations, and our gym will get a refresh so our teams can play with pride. We are so, so grateful for this opportunity and what it will mean for our KIPPsters for years to come.
