Happy New Year!
It's a New Year and a New Decade
Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers and supporters of The Matt Garcia Foundation. With your incredible help we have been able to support youth in our community. This was very important to the late City Councilman Matt Garcia. The foundation is made up of all volunteers. We proudly come together to live out Matt’s mission by Supporting youth, Helping stop crime and Strengthening our Community.

A special thanks to Alex Meza, Community Service Clean-up Volunteer of the Year. He showed up for every single monthly clean-up during 2019!

Writing 2020 Tip
Tip: When signing or dating legal documents don’t use “20” as the year.

For example: March 3, 2020. DON’T write it as 3/3/20. The reason being is someone can modify it to 3/3/2017 or 3/3/2019.

Always write out the year completely to protect yourself.

“Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don’t, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.” - Harvey MacKay

Everyday we learn something new. Take life as a test and shoot for a better score each day… It doesn’t have to be an “A” the next day,
but let’s hope it improves.
