Snow updates, Coyote safety, Winter Wonderland and more!
Brampton is ready for winter
Our team is prepared to clear City-owned roads, sidewalks, transit stops, parking lots, recreational trails, and school crossings. Follow the Plow Tracker online for the latest snow clearing updates.
Bundle up for new adventures in Brampton and join us for family-friendly fun! Activities include outdoor skating, skiing and snowboarding for beginners, tubing, and holiday programming.
During times of community-wide emergencies, such as cold alerts and heat warnings, residents can contact local faith-based organizations in the Lighthouse Program directory to see if their facilities are temporarily being used as warming and/or cooling centres.
Stay alert and be informed with the City’s new interactive coyote map. Residents can now report coyote sightings, food sources, den sightings, and more. If you require assistance with a sick/injured animal or an animal that is posing a risk to the public, call 311.
Qualifying homeowners, who are senior citizens and/or people with physical disabilities, can apply for the Snow Removal Financial Assistance program to help with costs of hiring someone to remove snow from their sidewalks and driveways.
Join us for an incredible lineup of December shows! Holiday concerts with The Rose Orchestra and Brampton Concert Band; a throwback to the 80s with CHOIR! CHOIR! CHOIR! Plus, A Next Generation Leahy Christmas, the perfect show for the whole family.
