EXCITING NEWS
We are proud to add The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM), Bronx, NY, to our growing list of elite hospitals. This Pediatric Oncology Early Phase Clinical Trial Program (PEPCTP) focuses on patients with relapsed/refractory disease who are unable to access novel oncology therapies, in an underserved and
under-resourced patient population.

On November 14th, we hosted our Annual Gala to a sold-out crowd, raising a net profit of $420,000 - our MOST successful event in PCF’s history! The evening was deeply moving, especially hearing the heartfelt story from our honorees, Paul and Cindy Fegan, and learning about the groundbreaking research led by Dr. Michael Ortiz. Their stories and the work being done reminded us all of the vital mission of PCF and reinforced the importance of never giving up hope in the fight against pediatric cancer. | |

Junior Committee
PCF’s Junior Committee consists of approximately 50 high school students from all over the country. These teens are committed to our mission and are actually making a difference in the life of a child with cancer. Nothing is more powerful! This year, the junior committee raised close to $50,000 from various fundraisers!

On September 14th, proclaimed “Pediatric Cancer Foundation Day”, we honored our remarkable State Senator Shelley Mayer, a dedicated advocate for children battling cancer. Her unwavering commitment to this cause continues to inspire and drive progress in the fight for better treatments and support for young patients and their families.
The Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge was illuminated in gold on September 14, officially Pediatric Cancer Foundation Day, in honor of the fight against pediatric cancer.

Last April, the Manhattan Committee hosted its Third Annual Toast to PCF Gala, bringing together young professionals in support of PCF’s mission to fight childhood cancer. The event was a night of inspiration and community, raising awareness and funds for this important cause. | |
Navis Foundation's Golf Outing
On May 6th, The Navis Foundation hosted their Annual Drive the Dream of Hope, Golf and Tennis Outing, benefitting Pediatric Cancer Foundation. We are proud to have built a meaningful relationship with Paul and Cindy Fegan and the Navis Foundation.

Cards for a Cure
On August 7th, 2024 over 130 people joined together at Oceanbleu Resort in Westhampton Beach to help fight pediatric cancer. Executive Board member, Melissa Hollander, has carved out a path and turned this into an annual event, raising over $23,000! Participants enjoyed an afternoon of card-playing, shopping, and lunch, all for a terrific cause.

Panels for Pediatric Cancer
Kicking off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Jamie Heiberger Harrison, board member and real estate attorney, hosted the first annual Panels for Pediatric Cancer. Jamie raised money and awareness by interviewing real estate professionals on various topics pertaining to the current market.

Our Annual Summer Camp-a-thon was a huge success, with many thanks to campers, staff and families from Camp Lenox, Camp Ramaquois, Camp Taconic, and Trail's End Camp. Funds raised supported the Pediatric Cancer Foundation ‘s Developmental Therapeutics Program (PCFDTP) at Columbia University, Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). We are so deeply appreciative to these camps encouraging their campers to “do good." | |
Thank you to Denise and Chris Lamberto for hosting their 16th Annual Comedy Night in Staten Island, to honor Pediatric Cancer Foundation, raising over $20,000 for childhood cancer research. The Lambertos, along with their friends and family, have truly walked the walk, and we are eternally grateful for their partnership. | |
Spring Boutique
On May 1st, we returned to Metropolis Country Club to host our annual PCF Boutique, a long- standing favorite event. We are incredibly grateful to all the vendors and shoppers who made this day so successful. This year, we were thrilled to showcase over 30 retailers, each generously donating 20% of their total sales to support crucial research.
