It's a wrap for AHR Expo 2022! Our booth was busy and we mixed it up with people from all over. Great to meet new folks and see so many friends from the industry. We posted live from the event and had our video production team onsite with us!

Where are they now? We caught up with John Davis, President of Tarkio Tech and one of the winners of our three $2,000 Christmas gift certificates! Tarkio Tech is a very new, ground-floor institute in Tarkio, Missouri. It was established in 2020, the buildings used to be a liberal arts college and have been empty since the early 1990s. With strong community support and financial backing, the goal is to make Tarkio Tech a leading trades institute in this rural area over the next few years. Welding and HVAC are the top programs. HVAC currently has one instructor, who will be instrumental in designing the course curriculum, purchasing equipment and leading the program. One quote John is famous for is: “You can always help a situation by doing one of the following three W’s: provide Wealth, Wisdom or Work.” The $2,000 gift certificate (Wealth) will definitely be used to help get the program rolling!

We met James Anderson, a contractor from Chicago, at the AHR EXPO 2022 in Las Vegas. At our booth, we took his photo by our iConnect Training equipment in his cool shirt: "NO HVAC, NO LIFE". He told us he's been working in the field 10 years, and he "sleeps, eats, and breaths HVAC." He does lots of residential and walk-in coolers. He said the story behind these shirts is that we all expect heating, cooling and refrigeration in this country, and we take it for granted. Until it goes down! Only then do we realize how crucial it is to our comfort, our food, OUR LIFE!
