Pictionary for Cadettes
October 21, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Virtual
Join us in playing a virtual game of Pictionary, along with your family and other Girl Scouts. This charades-inspired word-guessing game is brought to us by volunteer sketch artists from the United Way's Draw United Program. Girl Scout-themed pictures will be drawn on-screen for girls to make guesses by typing them into the chat log. Depending on time, our goal is to play 10-15 games during the session. Each game winner will receive a fun patch. All registration questions must be completed in order for girls to receive credit for attending. Use your girl's name when answering questions.
Hurricane Heroes
October 24, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Girl Fee: $5.00
Camp Honi Hanta
All Girl Scout grade levels will have the opportunity to become hurricane heroes. They will participate in activities like sandbagging, mock window boarding, creating an emergency kit for their families, learning basic emergency pet first aid, Paracord identification bracelets, and water filtration. We've invited guest speakers from the Emergency Management Services, Manatee County Area Transport, and the Pittsburgh/Bradenton Marauders to help lead the discussion about evacuating vs. staying during a storm threat, including sheltering with animals. Become your family's hurricane expert!
Family Campfire Circle
October 30, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Girl Fee: $5.00
Adult Fee: $5.00
Camp Honi Hanta
Join us for an evening of fun Girl Scout traditions around the campfire. Girls and their families will enjoy songs, skits, and, of course, S'mores! Participants will go on a scavenger hunt and explore the campground. The whole family is invited to attend and enjoy an evening with their Girl Scout.
