  Boy, has the time flown by! School will be starting soon, and with that will come a barrage of paperwork, adjustment to new schedules, and a fair amount of stress for children with special needs.
Alexa and Autism
If you've already hopped aboard the 'Alexa' train, you know how much fun this device is. You can ask random questions, turn lights on or off, create shopping lists, and much more. For children with autism, it appears Alexa has added additional roles to her job description. Alexa-created activities such as setting timers and creating bedtime routines can be immensely useful. These give our providers opportunities to stay current on issues while maintaining their professional development hours.
