Epic matching donation challenge!
To celebrate our triumphant return to real camp, Lynn and Evelyn Hart, whose two daughters went to camp in the 1980s and 90s, have challenged our community to an epic match.

They are offering to match 100% of your donations up to $20,000!

Gales Creek Camp has always been there for families living with T1D, no matter what their financial situation. Already in 2022, we have more than 90 campers registered who need camperships, totaling over $43,000.

The Harts are making a big difference, and they are hoping you will pitch in.

For our kiddos with type 1 diabetes, there's nothing better than finding your people. The same is true for adults living with T1D.

Welcome to your very own grown-up (slightly) summer camp experience.

Anyone living with type 1 can attend, whether you have T1D yourself, or you live with or love someone who does. Spouses, families and besties are welcome. Bring friends or make them there. Must be 21+.

This month, it's all about our favorite subject: CAMP!

Bring your camper along to meet some of this summer's staff, ask questions about camp, and hear about all of the exciting things we've got planned.

Camp Cleanup and Open House is June 4 at 9am!
We'll have the supplies, water and snacks ready!


We'll start at 9am sharp and work until about noon. Lunch will be provided and includes veggie and gluten free options.

Then it's time for Open House!

New families, veteran families, and all supporters are welcome. Come for a tour, come for the free lunch, or just come to hang out.
Financial aid is available to help with camper fees. Ensuring camp fees do not prohibit any child with type 1 diabetes from attending camp is a top priority of Gales Creek Camp Foundation.
