At the Tannenbaum we often get asked "are you tired of Christmas by the time December comes?" and I can tell you that "no, we do not" or at least the writer of this newsletter is not😊. This last week, we set up our Christmas tree and pulled out all the ornaments that are special to our family. We have started in on some of our Christmas traditions (e.g. Christmas cards, decorating gingerbread houses, etc.). Even though we are surrounded by Christmas all year round, there is still something special about December! We hope that as this Christmas season gets started that you are filled with joy of everything that is to come! |

After taking a year off, we have decided to have our Friends and Family Sale. For one day only (December 6th to be exact) nearly everything is on sale. There are some exclusions (e.g. all of the items we are talking about in this newsletter), but there will be so much on sale, you need to check it out. If you are not able to make it to the store, you can shop online (starting at 12:01am CST) and phone in orders (starting at 10am CST). Please note this is a busy day for us and we will process orders as fast as we can!
We will also be closed on December 24th and 25th to allow our employees time to enjoy Christmas with their families. We will be reopening on December 26th at 10am. Also be watching for our January newsletter for our Christopher Radko and Dept 56 Retirement Sale.

There is still time to get your Frykman Exclusive this year, Santa's Piano. This is our 24th year of Frykman exclusives. It is hard to believe that we have been doing this for that long. Santa's Piano features Santa sitting on top of his piano with his polar bear friend sitting by the base. Each piece is number and signed by David Frykman. This year's exclusive is excluded from the Friends and Family Sale. |

By far our most popular Door County ornaments are those by Log Cabin Creations. Each ornament is hand-painted and features some of the most popular destinations in Door County. We have your favorite light houses, restaurants, parks, and activities. We know that everyone has a different "favorite thing to do in Door County" and that is why we have so many to choose from. We are getting to the end of our inventory and some of the more popular places, so order yours todays! |

We have been fortunate for the last few years to have the Vaillancourt Folk Art company make us exclusives with Door County themes. For example, our 2018 piece features Santa with his map ready to try out all the amazing wineries in Door County. Of course he already has picked up a few bottles. All of our Vaillancourt exclusives will be excluded from the sale.

For the last couple of years we have carried David Wilkinson's photography, calendar, and note cards. David's photography captures so much of the beauty of Door County, so you can enjoy it all year round. David's work will not be included in the Friends and Family Sale. We have some of his work on the website, but we have even more of his work in the store! |

We know that every year there are people who are hard to buy for, or they just like to pick out their own gifts. Gift certificates can be the perfect gift! We offer them online in denominations of $10, $25, $50, and $100. Otherwise, if there is a specific value you had in mind (e.g. $47 because they are turning 47 years old), you can call us and we can process the order over the phone. Gift certificates can be a win-win situation. You get your shopping done quickly and the receiver gets to have fun picking out something for themselves. |

Our final exclusion from the Friends and Family sale is our Thymes fragrances. We love Thymes! Their fragrances are light and beautiful and don't overwhelm the area! This time of year, we know most people are looking for Frasier Fir items and we have everything you could want in stock (candles, diffusers, cleaners, etc.). But, we also have some of their other fragrances including gingerbread, pumpkin and simmered cider. |

December is a busy time of year and our stock is getting low on many items. If there is something that you see, we suggest picking it up soon. If you are an online shopper, be sure to order soon as this will allow plenty of time for us to ship it out and for you to enjoy it before Christmas. Don't delay! |
